A hearing evaluation is necessary before a hearing aid may be purchased. This may be done in our practice, or you may have a recent test sent to us from another facility. The Audiologist will determine if your previous test is sufficient. This is not included in the hearing aid package price, but may be submitted to your insurance company. Though not required, it is advisable to have a clearance from your doctor for hearing aid candidacy.

Hearing aids have come a long way in recent years. Small and discrete – but powerful – hearing aids can now be fitted directly into the ear canal. Each instrument is customized for you, the patient. Your specific hearing loss and listening needs are considered when purchasing the instrument. The latest technology is always available at Ear Nose & Throat of Springfield.

Feel free to bring a family member with you. Everyone needs to be involved in this important decision.
